By placing an order with En Casa Cooking Space, you agree to be subject to the Terms and Conditions as set out in this Terms and Conditions (Cakes) page.
Please ensure you read these Terms and Conditions before placing your order with En Casa Cooking Space to avoid disappointment.
1. Payment
1.1 You acknowledge that, by placing your order, you are agreeing to pay the purchase price for the goods ordered. In addition, you agree to pay the delivery fee for your order that we notify to you when you place your order (if applicable) and any other fees or charges set out in this Terms and Conditions.
1.2 En Casa Cooking Space may change the prices published in store or on this site at any time without notice given. Prices of products placed in the basket but not paid for are also subject to change and you agree to pay the price current at the time of payment.
2. Allergies
2.1 En Casa Cooking Space will not be responsible for any allergy related issues.
2.2 Unless it is specified specifically on your order, all cakes and ingredients may contain or come into contact with the following allergens: Dairy/Wheat/Nuts/Soy/Gluten and other potential allergens.
2.3 It is your responsibility to inform consumers of the cake of any risks that may be applicable to them.
3. Delivery
3.1 Someone must be home to accept the cake delivery. If no one is home at the time of delivery, the cake will be returned to En Casa Cooking Space.
3.2 Delivery is strictly on the confirmed date/time. We will not be held responsible if you are not home during the delivery hours on the designated day of delivery and the cake or dessert is returned to En Casa Cooking Space as a result. Another delivery fee will be required to be paid if you would like us to attempt another delivery.
4. Cake Decorations and Variation from Pictured Items
4.1 Fresh flowers and iced flowers may vary from original image viewed or provided. Sprinkles and other cake and dessert decorations also may vary. This may be due to certain items being unavailable, out of stock or out of season from time to time.
4.2 Whilst we try our very best to replicate images, this can only be done within reasonable limits.
5. Damaged Cakes or Incorrect Storage
5.1 After your cake or dessert has been delivered, we take no responsibility for any damage that occurs to any part of the cake or dessert while it is in your care, including if it is as a result of incorrect storage or transportation. Suitable storage measures for your cake can be found in the care card provided on the cake.
5.2 Where you have elected for a store-pick up, transportation of the cake or dessert is carried out at your own discretion and we will not be responsible for any damage that occurs to the cake during this process.
6. Image use
6.1 En Casa Cooking Space reserves the right to take and use photographs of your cakes and/or desserts before, during and after final display.
6.2 These images may be used for marketing, advertising, training and development and other promotional and social media purposes without any form of compensation to you.
7. Deposit, Cancellation and Refund Policy
7.1 Quotes from En Casa Cooking Space are valid for 30 days from the day of issue.
7.2 No order is considered confirmed and no work on the creation of your cake will commence until a 50% deposit is paid and received.
7.3 Once the deposit is paid, the quoted price is not subject to change unless changes are made to the order.
7.4 The balance of the payment is due no later than 2 weeks prior to the date that your cake is required.
7.5 If placing an order within this 2 week period, then full payment is due and payable for the order to proceed.
8. Cancellations
8.1 Online Cakes: For online cake orders, 48 hours notice of cancellation is required and you will be refunded 50% of the full payment amount. For cancellations made within 48 hours, no refund will be given.
8.2 Custom Celebration Cakes: For custom cake orders, 7-days notice is required and you will be refunded 50% of the purchase price (deposits are non-refundable). For cancellations made within 7 days, no refund will be given.
9. Amending an order
9.1 We ask that all changes to your order are requested via email as early as possible if you would like adherence to the amended design. Props, figurines and custom decorations need to be ordered and we will not be held responsible if we are unable to accommodate due to late notice. The standard cancellation policy will apply.
9.2 Any change to the original quote is subject to a quote review and viability of the changes requested.
9.3 In the event that an agreement cannot be reached as to the changes to your quote, the cancellation procedure as set out in these Terms and Conditions will apply.
9.4 In case of changes to date, 2 weeks notice is required before delivery/pick up date. If you need to reschedule, the new date of delivery/pick up should be within 30 days of the first confirmed date.
